    One of the biggest change I made in the last couple of years was to wake up earlier. I’ve become much more productive with my time and more relaxed throughout the day. The extra couple of hours before most get up (wake up at 5am) has changed things for me.

    I typically am most productive in the mornings before my students arrive so I try to arrive early. I am multi-tasking constantly throughout the day and is a must have skill for teachers!

    Ditto on scheduling! It’s ironic that a lot of people underestimate the power of schedules. Since I started off scheduling tasks daily, even if it’s just doing the laundry and ticking that off, I’ve always felt productive. It gets you pumped up for your next task. I also agree on setting a clock on tasks. I use a timer/stopwatch app that schedules my tasks for the day with the corresponding amount of time I need to spend on each task. This helps me finish quite a lot of tasks in a single day. It’s quite effective!
