The Much Awaited 1st Weekly Yakezie Challenger Round Up

I have touted this on Yakezie forum too much lately, it was about starting a weekly Yakezie round-up with posts from challenger blogs, excluding existing Yakezie member blogs.

I waited for challengers to sign up, but except a few, no one seemed interested. Without wasting much time, and without waiting for challengers to sign up (well except for a few, who did sign up),  I went to various blogs and gathered the information. And this work is a result of that effort.

On July 24th, I am going to host Yakezie Carnival on my blog, this can very well be my dress rehearsal, before venturing in to that big stage. Wish me luck readers..

There have been a lot of things going on in various Yakezie challenger sites. t’s full of action, blogs are racing neck and neck to break in to the 200K Alexa ranking challenge. There are plenty of gems out there. It brings a great joy and fun to be able to bring to you the hidden gems from Yakezie challenger world.

There is no ranking I gave to the posts, they are placed in random order, mostly posts published within last 7 days, has been selected for this round-up.

365 Days on Budget (Alexa 662K) tries finding the best places in USA to own a rental property. Read and see if you are one of the lucky ones to live in those areas

101 Centavos (Alexa 162k) just fixed a faucet on his own, and saved some money, but he gets in to thinking was it worth it, instead of calling a specialist? He made it to below 200K now he should keep up for few more months to become full Yakezie member!

Debt free by thirty(Alexa 377K) makes my mouth water with her weekly meal plan, pantry raid edition. Even with those kind of dishes amazingly she’s saving money and well within her budget so far. Heading to kitchen before writing next line.

Cents To Save (Alexa 293K) believes in living frugally like we all do probably. He prepares his weekly menu plan and ensures he avoids last minute rush in shopping, which saves a few bucks as well.

Family Money values (Alexa 218K) emphasizes the importance of passing down family history to children or grand children via innovative games. She has her points clearly cut out. She is also about to meet Yakezie challenge, I sincerely hope she meets this week itself.

Fat guy Skinny Wallet (Alexa 183K) in his mission to be slimmer on weight and fatter on wallet, finds the recipe for Deep fried girl scout cookies. Khaleef also made it to Yakezie challenge almost.

But That doesn’t mean I am not looking for a support, My Alexa is now standing at 1.2M, went down drastically in last one week. Hoping to get it down below 1M this week.

Next week, I promise to bring to you more challenger site updates with a lot more blogs. In this regard I need your help too, if you happen to know a fellow Yakezie challenger, please put the blog name in comment, I will take it from there. If you are a challenger and your post failed to appear, do write in a quick comment with your blog name and URL. It will appear from next week.

In the mean time, why don’t you click and see what I have written, from my side bar?

Do remember to follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook, and subscribe to my RSS feed, coz’ I will help you.

Thanks for including me in your roundup! I’m hoping that I won’t be a challenger for too long. In addition to the Alexa requirement, we also have to stick it out and promote others for 6 months – like you are doing now!

Thanks Hunter, it was mostly on my own. There were only three requesters. For rest, I visited challenger forum and picked blogs who have announced themselves, then shortlisted based on displayed challenger badge. Filtered further for Alexa rank above 200K. If you know someone who is not included, please let me know, I’ll include in next week’s round up
