5 reasons SMS marketing is such a powerful investment

SMS marketing is a marketing channel just like email marketing which allows sellers to directly promote their goods and services to both present and prospective customers on their mobile phones. See Techtimes top list of bulk messaging software. A major business challenge is finding ways to get the most out of marketing. This article is an eye-opener into the reasons why SMS marketing is such a powerful investment. So in the rest of this article, you will find reasons SMS marketing is such a powerful investment.

  1.   Trackable interactions:

SMS marketing interactions are trackable, which is a great way to build your “client’s contact” list. You can actually follow your messages up to see how many people have read it and gain more clients through that. Tracking links can be added to enable you as a business person to identify who has interacted with your messages. This enables you to know which of your customers is still interested in your product and which is not interested in your product. In a case where you are able to identify a client that is no longer interested in your product, you can always get feedback on why the customer is no longer interested in your product.

  1.   24/7 marketing:

Boosting your business with SMS marketing is one of the very bright ideas out there. An average human carries a mobile phone at all times. This is a very grand opportunity for you as a business owner because you can forward messages to your clients at any time of the day. SMS marketing is a powerful way to reach your audience. Just do well to be mindful of the time zones if your clients are located in different countries.

  1.   No automatic filtering:

Unlike email marketing in which all your messages have to pass through a filter, SMS messages don’t automatically have to pass through one before they are delivered. Some messages go through the filter and are labelled as spam. Unfortunately, those messages might not eventually get to clients. But SMS marketing doesn’t have that kind of limitation. This means your client would be able to access all your messages without a third-party app having to filter them.

  1.   Access to large audience:

More than half of the world’s population actually own a phone; either mobile or Android and luckily every phone comes with an SMS application. This simply means you can contact anyone who has either an Android or a mobile. Plus, gaining clients through SMS marketing is a whole lot easier than through email marketing because not everyone has an active email account even with the rate of technological advancement. Some that own the account do not allow promotional mails and this could be inimical to any marketing campaign.

  1.       Inclined tapping:

When an average human receives a text, there’s a natural instinct to tap on it before actually contemplating on deleting it or not. So therefore when you as a marketer forward messages to your clients or intending clients, they are inclined to tap on them before making a decision. Note though, your messages are less likely to be deleted if you create good content.
