Anniversaries and valentine’s days are the times when you can get your better half a sentimental present. It is the celebration of your time together and you want to gift him something unique and personal rather than the standard gifts that are given on other occasions. Gifts that create experiences and that involve spending your time and energy rather than simply spending money to buy off the shelf are the best gifts for your loved one.

Best Sentimental Valentine Gift Ideas for Husband

But, most women are left scratching their heads because they are unsure of what to get their husbands for Valentine’s day as they don’t want to pick something trite. I think after the anniversary and the birthday, this day is the next most important day of showing special affection for your better half.

I had written about more than 100-anniversary gift ideas, and handmade Valentine’s day gift ideas here is a list of some unusual gift options for this valentine’s day!

Luckily, there are some excellent sentimental gift options that can hit the mark without coming off as cheesy.

What are they?

Best Sentimental Valentine Gift Ideas for Husband

Personalized M&Ms

Who says chocolates are only for women? Men also get a kick out of them and M&Ms are a particular favorite.

These days, you can get the M&Ms customized by adding dates, names, personal messages and even photos to the little chocolates. He is going to love this gift as it is very unique, especially if he enjoys eating M&Ms.

Love notes

These days, we have become increasingly dependent on technology, which means that the old romance has gone out of the window.

Why not bring it back?

Take a jar and customize it in any way you want. You can paint it or decorate it in any way. Fill the jar with personal messages, romantic coupons he can avail as well as inside jokes. He will get a kick out of reading them. here are some excellent ideas for love notes that I found on Pinterest.

Couple’s art

If your husband doesn’t enjoy sitting for sketches, you can simply use one of the photographs you two have and get it sketched by someone.

You can also get caricatures made of you two and get it framed. If he has a sense of humor, he is going to have a lot of fun with this present.

Customized map

This is another special gift that you can get for your husband on Valentine’s day. The map can be customized with special moments such as the first time you traveled together or the places where you had your first dates.

It is very romantic and you can continue adding to the map later on.

Ring

This might sound like a regular gift, but you can make it unique. There are plenty of men’s rings you can find with great designs and stones.

The key to making it different is to get it engraved with your wedding date or even with your initials. These rings are long-lasting and will remind him of your thoughtfulness every time he puts it on.

Mixtape

Yes, this is another traditional gift that couples used to give each other a long time ago. Now, you can add a modern spin to it.

Make your husband a USB mixtape that can he listen to in his free time and make sure you add your favorite songs and the ones that are meaningful. Add the ones that remind you of him and he will just love it.

A classic watch

Yes, it is another commonplace gift and not exactly sentimental, but again you can make it so. Select a watch that’s in accordance with your partner’s taste and then get it engraved on the back. Because the watch is the only thing close to jewelry that men wear, they got to be nicest ones!

You can add a personal message on the back with your initials and wedding date. This can actually become a family heirloom as well that can be passed on to your children as a memento.

These are some great sentimental gifts that you can give to your husband on Valentine’s day. They will express your feelings for him in the best possible way and something that you both can look back on.
