Everyone expects business to be conducted on the go now – that has increased the demand for quality digital interaction. Technology has made the world a smaller place in many ways – people all over the globe conduct business or socialize together on a regular basis.

Being able to e-mail with people far away is wonderful, but sometimes you need more direct interaction. That is where streaming video can be a big help. Even though people are more used to communicating digitally more than ever, people still want to receive immediate reactions to ideas and conversations.

Broadcasting video with interactive features can bring large meetings down to scale, and make it easier for everyone to express themselves and accomplish more.

Big Business Benefits

There are a number of ways that streaming your video broadcast can be a huge asset to your business. Being able to use interactive video means that you can hold meetings where everyone can feel as though they are face-to-face without necessarily being in the room.

A meeting where some people would call in used to be a drag. Communication lags would make it difficult to know when to talk, and things can feel one-sided. It doesn’t always feel like everyone is involved when you can’t see each other, and it can be difficult to get everyone’s point across in the best way possible.

A web conference that has interactive components allows everyone to is seen and to bring their own opinions and data to the table, according to Houston Chronicle.

There are options to bring in certain people to talk, queue up either questions or other presenters, switch perspectives to make everything clearer, to organize future meetings on the spot, and even allow moderators to prep presenters in a virtual ‘green room’ before going on to the bigger stage.

It also allows for multiple presenters to bring in video clips, slide shows, documents, and other information to share with a large group. Being able to use a single platform to share all of these makes it easier than having all participants switch from program to program throughout a meeting.

In addition, conferences can include much larger groups of people than they used to since moderating is so easy. One can join a meeting from nearly anywhere, using a wide variety of devices and software – phones, laptops, desktops, etc. TechCrunch notes that this sort of technology makes it easy for groups of almost any size to meet or broadcast.

Saving Time and Money

Scheduling in-person meetings are time-consuming – you need to book a conference room, chat about which times are best, have food ordered and delivered in some cases, and generally spend a lot of energy doing things that aren’t actual work. Using streaming video and

Using streaming video and the web conferencing, a meeting can be planned quickly and be attended by people anywhere. It eliminates unnecessary travel time and allows employees and clients to get to the important stuff more quickly. It is also a great platform for training sessions, which can otherwise be hard to organize.

If multiple people need to be trained, but not on the same level – some people can be instructed to check in and out of a conference at different times while having the same host. No one needs to plan on spending an entire day out of commission when only certain parts are relevant to them, and interactive components mean that questions can be asked and answered on the spot.

This is much more effective than a one-way training video or reading over a manual at your desk. Digital interaction makes your employees more flexible, but this is naturally appealing to clients as well. If you are courting a new client, they may not be able to schedule face time before committing to using your services.

Showing that you are easy to work with, being able to make your case on their time, and prove your worth online can be a huge boon. It is possible to look your client in the eye, without needing to find a venue or struggling to make the time for an in-person meeting.

It is also possible to create outward-facing content and interactive broadcasts for customers, explaining new products you have and introducing yourselves in a big way. They can ask questions and learn more about your products and services in large clusters, which makes thing easier for everyone on your team.

It’s important to utilize new technology right. Using digital video and conferencing is making the world a smaller place, and helping businesses grow. If you have a lot of far-flung employees, business partners, or clients – broadcasting live video can be the right move for you.
