Weekend Chit-Chat – The Redesign Edition

Readers, friends it’s nice to finally have completed the much awaited OCAAT site redesign. The original concept was taken from one of my favorite productivity blogs. Let’s not mention the name here. This was the original concept I created with simple tool MS Paint.

Proposed OCAAT design

Initially I put up the project on freelancers.com and awarded to an India based software firm. They couldn’t implement the idea properly and at the end even attempted to take over the site ownership. I scrapped the project immediately and the savior, Andrea from So Over This, rescued the site and got the new design contract. She, on behalf of her company, Nuts and Bolt Media, just delivered the project yesterday.

She even did certain things better than my original concept. Even she did the site logo.Which is cool I think. This post is going to be shorter one, for lack of time. I’ll be on vacation and going back to my home country, India, to meet family members there. After a long two months I’ll also be meeting my wife over there. Together we will come back to America on Christmas eve.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this post. Have a great week ahead! Also, please feel free to share your opinion about the new look of this site.
