Readers, thanks for sticking with us for another week. I appreciate your interest in this blog. It has become kind of routine for me to complain about job pressure and again admitting that I actually liked being that busy at work. Perhaps I started having my share of stress and fatigue now that SMB is asking me to look for another job.

I love the job I am doing, and, I take pride being an employee of this Fortune 50 finance company. I am not thinking about switching employer. The only alternative for me is to look for open internal positions. Which is not so tough to achieve when compared to getting a job somewhere else. So, I started applying for positions similar or higher to my current position. I will keep you updated on the progress. Right now the deadline for my current project is fast approaching and we are still lagging behind it.

No wonder I couldn’t attend Fincon12, a personal finance bloggers’ conference in Denver. Today Is the last day of the conference. Attendees are tweeting about the event every minute. I am spending most of my time at home following the hashtag #fincon12. My blogger friends kept on updating about what they wore, what they ate and what they drank. Good that they didn’t mention about the quality of their morning output.

In between being excited about meeting online friends and chatting about blog futures they did attend talks from established ‘A’ grade PF bloggers like Ramit (I will teach you to be rich), JD (Get Rich Slowly) and Adam (Man Vs. Debt). These blogs are an example of building a massive business out of your home office.

I hope one-day OCAAT can be as big as these blogs. One thing, though, I need to improve my English prowess and need to find more time out of my day to be able to achieve a success anywhere close to what these guys achieved. Right now since last one week I am focusing on getting a new look for OCAAT. I am sure you don’t mind if I experiment a little bit with the site design. I promise I won’t create a barrier between you and my latest post. But, you may find traversing through an older post a bit difficult in next few days till I am done with the new design. This is just a heads up.

Do let me know if you liked the proposed design of OCAAT. You may suggest improvements as well. I do realize that in last couple of months my posts were not so personal and I blame it on my increased time at work. No denying that it’s my day job that earns by bread. Hopefully, I succeed in getting a new position which will not be as demanding as the present position.

On the home front, SMB is travelling to her parents in next few weeks. I will travel in December. The trip to India costs us around $8,000 including return airfare for two. She got her tickets booked already whereas, I am yet to decide on my dates. We hoped she’d be pregnant before we travel to India, but god has some other plans looks like. We both will be back in the US before Christmas.

Our plan to visit Yellowstone is also put on hold due to the work demand. No denying that SMB is not happy with the present situation at all. Good that she’s travelling and she’ll meet our family there. We recently had a niece and she did quite a lot of shopping for her.

On this blog front, we are still growing in terms of a number of visitors, email subscribers, Twitter followers and Facebook fans. I encourage you to become my email subscriber or Facebook follower, you’ll directly get my new posts on your Facebook wall or in your mailbox. You don’t have to come looking for it specifically.

Stinks that work is so busy but Fortune 50 is the big time league for sure. Hopefully you find something better. I was pretty miserable at my last job and got a new job at a different company and it made a world of difference. Hopefully you find something like I did.
