Please enjoy this guest post from Natalie over at Everything Finance.  Everything Finance is a site about just that, everything related to finance.  You can get information about investing, saving money, insurance, shopping, blogging, and making money online.

Hard Work

Financial experts are always pushing the idea of saving as much money as possible. It obviously makes sense as life is full of unexpected obstacles that no one can plan. Having savings is important but so is remembering why you are working so hard in the first place.

That is what is going to keep you working even when you are having the worst week ever.  Having that motivation is important when you are killing it with your finances.

It is easy to find reasons to spend your money. Maybe your neighbor bought a new car and now you want one too. Perhaps you are ogling that new handbag or sun glasses. If you just leave your door, there are always stores that are just begging for you to stop and spend.

The commercials on the television always let you know of the latest and greatest gadgets that you can buy. I know I find it hard sometimes to keep my wallet concealed when there are literally tons of awesome things out there that can be mine. New Ipod, anyone?

The truth is that many of us are working for people other than ourselves. Most of us are working to support our families. This for me is the number one reason for working hard. I am currently working hard to support my boyfriend as he is recovering from illness.

Obviously, this has been a difficult time for the both of us. The one thing I have been able to do is work hard so that we can have the bills paid and not completely destroy our savings. This is one of the best reasons I know to keep working hard and not spend money on frivolous things.

There is another great reason to work hard. Protecting your financial future is one of the best reasons for working. There will always be things that come up that are a surprise. My boyfriend’s illness is a prime example of this. Without having the financial preparation in place ahead of time, we would have been screwed for lack of a better word.  Having a little discipline now can literally be the difference from leaving you financially bankrupt or financially sound.  It is truly a wonderful thing

to be able to save and plan for your financial future. It truly beats the temporary feeling of joy that a piece of gadget can bring.

Having bad days at work are simply bound to happen. Sometimes you need a little help to remember why you are trying so hard in the first place. It is truly a noble thing to be able to care for the ones you love most in the world. Being able to build your financial foundation is still another great reason to preserve your wealth.

Keeping a straight head when it comes to money. Having that motivation is what is going to keep you going and going strong when trouble hits.

SB’s Thoughts: Readers, this is a good thought. No matter how hard we want, unless we work hard to achieve that, we can’t achieve anything including financial freedom. Even if you become good at saving money and spending less and learn investing tricks, unless you work hard to maintain a steady income stream or increase your income, financial freedom might not come easily.

How Hard are you working towards financial betterment?

The title of the article says it all, “work hard to financial success”. If you’re determined to keep your goals at the forefront, and you are willing to work hard to get them, you’re halfway there. I don’t like the nature of my job, but I know that it will help me to achieve the things that I need. Stay motivated and focused.
