In order to be a smart couponer, it used to take lots of determination, a scissor and magazine subscriptions and more and more. Online coupons have substantially reduced lots of burden of couponers by providing them an opportunity to make the easy shift. Things are definitely moving fast towards the enhanced facilities which need us all to make a fine move as well. People (families) who are cutting coupons since ages may feel a little attached to organizing activities. But, this change is better in so many ways. Foremost, if you will take a chance, you will notice the major time-saving benefit, not so away from you. Other benefits like the variety of discounts, shipping ease and access to unlimited options are solid as well.
Paper coupon vs online coupons

If you are more often on the deal hunt, you might have already tried online coupons and if you have not, you probably will in near future. In UK and US people are shifting to digitalized coupons with their own set of strong reasons. It may be series of apps and more for the graph of digital couponers rise higher than 53million, according to credible internet research.

Marketers in near future are going to go digitalize to reach their target segments and massive numbers of couponers are going to follow. But who will have more benefit out of it? The balance is critical and in the hands of both couponers and businesses.

Besides the vendors may go with huge discounts due to lower costs of publishing and distributing these coupons, the customers will be in charge too.

Is it just a changed way of distributing coupons?

A number of couponers and experienced couponers only seem to rise for the last few years. Most of these are successful digital couponers, is it just because they have those few minutes that it takes to acquire coupons or there are bigger benefits coming out of it?

Easy access and less need of organizing are an obvious big reason as until the previous years, only 1% of paper coupons were redeemed. Therefore, the casual and busy couponers mentioned the ease of access with digital coupons as a primary reason for using them, which they never had with paper coupons.

But since a number of couponing apps are growing substantially. There must be more reasons that compel both marketers and couponers to make it the future of couponing.

Some possible favors for couponers and marketers are:

1. Easy Distribution and Access

While marketers have potentially reduced their costs of distribution with digital coupons, couponers find these discounts more beneficial due to saved time. No heavy magazine subscriptions are required to be a regular couponer anymore. In fact, all you need is a smartphone and internet connection which in most cases is already present. The informative coupon facilities: lavishcoupon.com, couponsrain.com and clothingric.com give you access to potential promo codes without a break.

2. Trend Tracking

The campaign evaluation at the end of the period was the thing of the past. Now the brands may track their offer performance of each hour and minute. Thus, they may extend or discontinue it according to customer interest. The customers may also positively impact the availability of discount by spreading the information to more users. Similarly, weak offers can be put to an end without anyone wasting their money.

3. SoLoMo

With innovations in progress, the digital coupon industry has established SoLoMo models which have made information reach the segments rapidly. The benefits extend to both marketers and vendors, who are now live and fairly accessible with enhanced filters that SoLoMo contains. The QR code generation which scoops images for more information is just the transformation that, a smartphone could expect in the online marketing. In this model, small local businesses will have a fair chance to compete and have audience add to the stream.

4. Creativity

What technology embraces the best is innovation and creativity. Users of every age group will tend to attempt online couponing due to interesting offers. Live updates and creative offers are making users more attracted towards coupons. Expectations are that the redemption of coupons will be more frequent for the future.

5. Nothing Extra

In paper coupons, the offers were usually controlled and initiated by the giants of the markets and there were no rapid movements. With coupons going electronic in smartphones, the cost on both ends will be reduced and discounts are made more essential. The fraud and stealing of coupons will also be finally under strict control. The concept of targeting the audience is actualized now as couponers can get coupons without the extra efforts and expenditure.

Currently, this, and lots hot is going to happen when online discount markets are fully established. The coupon clipping of the past will shrink to your smartphone market. We expect this change to prove a pleasant one.

I don’t know I tend to agree and disagree, I still tend to find cutting the weekly coupons easier than searching through the pages and pages of online coupons, but I like to double down on the coupons with other offers like using ibotta, checkout51 and a weekly coupon like I have in the past, or price matching an ad that I found at target for eggs this past week and then using checkout51 and the ibotta app to get cashback for $1 when the eggs were only 99 cents. I think there are a lot of great apps, but I just don’t like the online couponing, it takes me about 2 minutes to go through the weekly paper ads and it takes that long to load half of the weekly coupons online normally.

I’d strongly suggest you using smart phone coupon app. The other day my wife and I were shopping in Hobby lobby. We found a decorative item which was a bit costly. We searched in retailmenot app and found a 40% off coupon. So, you don’t really have to browse through pages to find a coupon. Search always helps speed up things, isn’t it?

I use a bunch of ’em and usually get a coupon somewhere. I’d say around 50% of the time I got a coupon I needed. I use retailmenot, Groupon Coupons, Coupon Sherpa

It’s just a lot easier nowadays to whip out the phone instead of spending hours cutting out coupons that you may or may not use.
